VW golf 6 rental kinda hitting 220 km/h (with 1.6 105 HP engine?)

A mate driving a stock standard rental golf 6 with the smallest engine i believe, still managing to almost hit 220 km/h by himself on a straight, and with a bit of pull hitting 220 km/h. As you can see, the revs are still kinda low, but the golf cuts off at 220 km/h even going downhill…

You’re right, it’s the 1.4 TSI with 122hp
The 160hp Version runs easily 235 on the Speedo
this is 1.4 TSI.
The diesel starts red revolutions at 5000
This may be 1.4 TSI 160

sure it must be the 1.4 tsi 122hp or 160hp. there is no 1.6 tsi. the classic 1.6 was mpi, not tsi.
mhh. Well the 220 on the speedo is obviously way off, so probably its a real 205 or something…

Mh, then its def the 122hp, cause the rental companies almost always have the smallest motorization… cool, still, goes well for that. Although if i remember my Alfa 33 Sportswagon with 107 HP, it went much better, i guess cause of the weight and engine type…
