   It is so funny! johnyfishable speaks the truth. Prius is in the same class with Avensis, Insighnia, Passat.
   Comparing a prius to polo is like comparing polo to passat! Totally bogus comparisons .

   The prius is one of the worst cars ever made! It is not enviroment friendly, it looks awful, the ride is to soft… But the worst thing is that the production of this piece of junk damages the enviroment more than any other vehicle do and the batteries in it aren´t recyclable. By the way the batteries also contain chemicals which are extremely dangerous for everyone and everything! And you have to change them after several years!

   Toyota Prius is a spacious, almost midsize car. Same interior space as in a VW Passat. It also has a large boot

   Polo? Polo is a car for midgets, basically a two seater for city only

   New 136HP 2010 Prius does 0-60 in 10 seconds. And this Polo with tall gears? 13 seconds? Try overtaking a lorry in it and you will kill yourself

   VW always get a balance of everything right than the Japanese. I rather drive this sleek looking car than than those damn UFO/egg shaped imports.

   your right. and furthermore, the energy and pollution it takes to make the prius batteries is insane. ive heard you would have to do 400,000 miles of driving in a prius to equal those emissions of making the batteries

    What exactly does ‘low speed refinment’ actually mean? I assume it means it’s a little sluggish at low revs? I’ve got a focus 1.8 tdci, but i really love the sound of this polo bluemotion.

    its all about how you drive it. if you push high rpms then ofcourse you will waste gas. top gear put an m5 and a prius on the track at the same speed and the m5 wasted less gas

    imo there was never a real reason to buy a prius unless you spend like 5 hours a day trapped in inner city traffic. there were always cars around who’d get a better mileage than the prius

    I think the guy mixed up the numbers. Was it 99 or 104 grams of emitions? Not that it matters. Great car! We need it here in the US!!!
